Hall County residents are encouraged to bring unwanted tires to Hall County Weed Control at 2807 W. 2nd Street, Grand Island, NE on September 27, 2014 between 8:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M.. Note: no rims/mud allowed, no tire dealers, you are responsible for unloading your tires and no dumping of tires prior to September 27, 2014.

Full-time Child Support Case Worker
The Hall County Attorney’s Office is taking applications for a full-time Child Support Case Worker. Serious candidates MUST have: One year of secretarial experience within the past 2 years. An Associate's Degree in paralegal studies preferred or combination of required secretarial experience and education accepted; demonstrate excellent computer, typing and organizational skills. Demonstrate the ability to work well in a fast-paced and multi-task environment; with excellent communication skills when working with the public and co-workers. An employment application is required for consideration and may be picked up at the Hall County Attorney Office, 231 South Locust, Grand Island, NE, between 8:30am-5pm M-F. Hall County Sheriff’s Office:
Part-time Support Staff Position
The Hall County Sheriff’s Office is taking applications for a part-time (30-35 hours / week) support staff position with the business office. Job responsibilities will include daily interaction with the public, answering phones, processing requests for information, processing complaints and registering sex offenders. Additional responsibilities include a wide variety of clerical tasks such as assisting with legal documents, processing various permits, completing title inspections and basic accounting.
Background and security clearance are mandatory. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age, possess a high school diploma or G.E.D. certificate, birth certificate and a valid driver’s license. Effective communication and clerical skills are required.

Hall County Corrections Department:
On-Site Visitation Schedule
The Hall County Department of Corrections will no longer be offering on-site visitation on Mondays. To visit an inmate on-site you must register at least 24 hours in advance at the facility or online at securustech.net. The new On-site visit schedule will be Tuesday – Friday 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. You may schedule unlimited off-site internet based video visit by visiting securustech.net. Off-site visits will be subject to a small fee and can be scheduled with no waiting period with prior site approval. Off-site visits will continue Monday – Sunday 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Hall County Treasurer's Office:
You can now pay your Real Estate taxes, Personal Property taxes and Motor Vehicle Renewals online with your credit card. There is a convenience fee added to the payment by the payment processor (PointAndPay), full details are available at the payment link below:
